Objective of this resume

I am seeking a position within a creative company that will allow me to utilize the experience and insight I have gained into the Graphic and Internet Design industries. I wish to find a company that will both challenge and aid me in my continuous development as a designer, developer and creative thinker.

Summary of my career as a web designer, interaction designer and graphic designer

As an award-winning designer, my knowledge of design and development includes the principles and applications of print and web design, as well as photography. I enjoy working closely with other team members; at the same time, my self-motivation allows me to perform well on individual projects. Each new challenge I face is an opportunity to grow and acquire new techniques and skills, and I thrive on the knowledge I continue to gain by overcoming any and all obstacles. I have developed close working relationships with clients and vendors, and have maintained the respect of my peers. My projects have included international marketing and branding campaigns as well as local client sites, Intranet systems and collateral materials. I wish to find an opportunity that will allow my continued application of the techniques and knowledge I have gained into the Graphic and Internet Design businesses within a creative and professional setting.

  • Main duties include the strategization, conceptualization, design and HTML implementation of websites for internal client accounts, as well as user interface development and frequent updates to live Internet, Intranet and Extranet client sites.
  • Other responsibilities include providing usability guidance through the creation of wireframes and sitemaps, the design and development of internal marketing materials, daily client interaction, project management and client training and support.
  • I assist in the research and development of proposals, comps and business cases for essential hardware and software, and provide necessary 24/7 website support.

  • Main duties included the strategization, conceptualization and design of websites, as well as user interface development and occasional updates to live client sites.
  • Other responsibilities included the design and development of internal marketing, exhibitry graphics, and training materials, which contributed to an international branding campaign. I developed a relationship with external vendors and oversaw the completion of these collateral pieces.
  • In addition, I assisted in research, writing proposals and designing comps for new sales efforts, as well as aiding in the creation of sales presentations.

  • Main duties included the strategization, conceptualization, design and HTML implementation of websites for national client accounts, as well as user interface development and frequent updates to live client sites.
  • Other responsibilities included the graphic design of corporate identities and brochures and frequent client interaction.
  • I was awarded the role of Design Lead and was responsible for overseeing the collaborative efforts of other designers and programmers to ensure that a quality product was completed efficiently and on time.
